This is a renovation case of the Yatsuhashi bridge established along the walking path of the "Takase Urakawa Waterside Green Space (Tama City, Kumamoto Prefecture)." Renovation work was carried out due to the corrosion of the wooden parts of the existing Yatsuhashi. Lightweight and ultra-high! Introducing case studies of FRP materials that are resistant to UV rays and moisture!

We would like to introduce the "Minakan Final Disposal Site" in Kumamoto Prefecture as an example of the installation of the FRP boardwalk. In response to the inertia of the Kumamoto Prefecture Minakan Town industrial waste final disposal site, a boardwalk was developed to allow for walking around the ponds in the surrounding area. We would like to introduce a renovation case of the "Kirishima Mountain Water Management Bridge - Tenkei Bridge (Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture)." Located behind Kirishima Shrine, this gorge is stunning with fresh greenery in spring and beautiful autumn leaves. After 30 years since its construction, renovations were carried out due to aging and the need for improved convenience. We would like to introduce a renovation case of the "Banna Park Firefly Waterfall Observation Deck (Ishigaki City, Okinawa Prefecture)." Within Banna Park, the southernmost forest park in Japan, there is a rare waterfall found on Ishigaki Island, where fireflies can be seen dancing in early summer. Lightweight and high strength! Introducing construction examples of FRP materials that excel in salt damage resistance and durability!

As an example of the installation of the "FRP Boardwalk," we introduce the "Okinawa Ocean Expo Park." In implementing universal design measures for the facilities within the park, FRP materials were selected considering their high resistance to salt damage and durability, as well as the simplification of management tasks such as maintenance and cleaning.
